Email signatures for upcoming events

About the project
ONS 2028 is already being communicated long before the event itself takes place. To keep ONS 2028 present in everyday communication from September 2026 through to August 2028, I created a series of email banners for use across the organisation.
The banners needed to work as a long-term communication tool, while still allowing different messages and content to be highlighted along the way.
Approach
The O in the ONS logo became the starting point for the visual system. I used it as a frame for event photography, creating a recognisable visual element that could be carried across the different banners.
From there, I developed variations for different communication needs. Some signatures keep things simple, pairing the logo with a featured image from the event, while others introduce a clear call to action, such as booking a stand or saving the date. This allowed the banners to evolve with the communication needs of ONS 2028 without having to reinvent the format each time.
The result is a flexible set of email banners designed to support ONS 2028 throughout the two-year lead-up to the event. A consistent visual framework makes the signatures recognisable, while the different variations allow them to shift between brand building, event storytelling and direct calls to action.
