Turning a sustainability report into a cross-channel story
Editorial design · Social media content · Graphic design
Client: Skretting
In 2022, Skretting launched their Sustainability Report with results and insights from the previous year. We collaborated to create a highly visual and engaging report, as well as a thorough social media campaign, showcasing key numbers, data and goals for the future.
Having worked on their previous Sustainability Report together, Skretting wanted to create a new identity for the report, but maintaining a red thread. Making information highly visual and engaging was a key priority, and the report was designed to be viewed digitally from Skretting’s website, and downloaded as a PDF. The project also required creating a social media campaign, and my suggestion was to create 10 short videos.
The approach: Once the copy for the report was ready, I worked in the design, creating custom images, graphs and infographics to showcase key information in each page. Skretting’s brand colours were incorporated to add visual interest and we avoided heavy blocks of text. The social media campaign focused on short videos showcasing nuggets of data, insights, goals and relevant information, to create interest and engagement.
The result: An engaging, highly visual report that can be browsed quickly to find key information, and a social media campaign that created awareness around the report. The PDF file is interactive, and the navigability between chapters and sections was improved from previous versions. The social media videos were well received and the traffic to Skretting’s website increased from previous years.
Additionally, I created email signatures for Skretting’s team, linking to the report and helping to create more awareness and interest towards the report.
