Client: Nysnø

In the digital realm, icons are the silent storytellers, guiding users through interfaces and enhancing user experiences. They provide instant recognition, streamline navigation, and contribute to a cohesive visual identity. When the Nysnø team approached me to develop versatile, unique icons for their brand, we got started right away with the brainstorming process.

The challenge: Design a set of icons in color, black and white that work to visualize specific topics related to the business’ needs. The icons are versatile and their meaning is intuitive. They should work well for their website but also for other platforms,

The approach: Firstly, we outlined the text that would be paired with the icons. We tested color combinations using the brand’s style guide and we developed icons that are handmade and unique to Nysnø.

The result: A bundle of icons that work well in full color and also in white/black. All icons were hand-drawn and designed specifically for niche concepts related to the brand.
